What to take:
Swim wear, sports shoes and sandals, long sleeved shirts, short and long pants, hat, mosquito repellent, sun screen lotion, flash light, binoculars, camera (if non-digital: several films, 400 asa recomended) rubber boots, for walking; light colored clothing to avoid mosquitos.


Note: We recommend that all visitors get the proper inoculations against malaria, yellow fever, and dengue fever at least two months before visiting the area. Although these diseases generally do not occur in the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve area, we recommend avoiding even the smallest risks.


Mr. Gart, ikitos.com and ikitos travel do not accept responsibility for any health issues, illnesses and/or injuries, theft of, or damage to your belongings that may occur during or after your visit to the Loreto region. We will be happy to provide you with all the necessary and accurate advice. We strongly recommend that you only drink bottled water and other cold beverages during your stay and that you refrain from buying or accepting any food items from street vendors. During your excursion, always pay attention to the instructions and suggestions of your guide. Never eat or drink any fluids or food items without prior approval from your guide.
